How Can I Give to Living Word?
Cash or Check
Your tithe can be given in the form of cash or check during services or by mail (Attn: Kathy). Giving envelopes are available at the Brochure Area in the Narthex or by contacting the church office.
Church Center
Church Center is a desktop website and mobile app that allows you to easily set up recurring and/or one-time giving from a credit card, debit card, or bank account. The website can be accessed by clicking here. The app is free to download in the App Store or Google Play. We use Church Center for other functions as well, such as our calendar, signups, check-in's and more!
Stocks, Mutual Funds, Grains
Securities, mutual funds, stocks, and grain can be given as a donation to the church and may provide tax benefits for you. Talk to your tax adviser about giving to Living Word Lutheran Church in these ways.
Time & Talents
A living stewardship is all about your heart; everything we have is a gift from God that we can use to help others. Our gift of time and talents is priceless. We encourage you to prayerfully consider how are you called to serve. There are many ways to serve. If you would like help finding ways to serve, please contact us.
Are You a Thrivent Client?
Did you know that as a Thrivent client with benefit membership, each year you have up to $500 to assign to any 501(c)(3) organization, including Living Word?!
It’s true! Twice per year, you are eligible to receive $250 on a Thrivent Action Team Card. This prepaid card can be used for a specific fundraiser, service activity, or educational event (virtually every event that goes on around here)! In the past, Thrivent Action Team Cards have been used to purchase food for events, curriculum for VBS, and even supplies for the Alaska Men’s Mission Trip.
If you are a Thrivent client, please don’t let this benefit go unused! If you are willing, please let the church office know you would like to use your Thrivent Action Team Cards to benefit Living Word. We will put your name on a list to be contacted when an opportunity arises and, if needed, can assist you in applying. Your local Thrivent representative is also a great source of assistance and information as you look into using this benefit. Thanks!
