COVID-19 Giving Announcement

We thank you for your faithful giving and support through this trying time!  The pandemic had the potential to impact giving and to trickle down into our ability to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Instead, we give praise as the giving at Living Word remains strong, allowing us to serve our community and thus our Lord Jesus boldly.  Your generosity allows us to vision and dream about where God is leading this ministry to grow.  These are exciting times at Living Word!  Thank you for your faithful giving, for finding new and creative ways to give, and for your faithfulness to Jesus. 

Most of all, thank you, Lord Jesus, for your faithfulness to us!

Automatic, Recurring Giving
 
Automatic giving can be authorized directly from your credit card or bank account.  Simply Giving Authorization Forms are available at the church office, Information Center or here.
Stocks, Mutual Funds, Grain
 
Securities, mutual funds, stocks and grain can be given as a donation to the church and may provide tax benefits for you.  Talk to your tax adviser about giving to Living Word Lutheran Church in these ways.
Time and Talents
 
A living stewardship is all about your heart; everything we have is a gift from God that we can use to help others.  Our gift of time and talents is priceless.  We encourage you to prayerfully consider how are you called to serve.  If you would like help finding ways to serve, please contact us here.
 
 
What
is
Tithing?
“Out of His fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. ” John 1:16

 

All blessings come from the Lord.  Giving back to His church allows us to minister to His people, grow His Kingdom and become more like Him.

A tithe – which means “tenth” – is the first 10% of income before taxes or anything else comes out.  When we give our first and best back to God, He promises to bless the rest.   Tithing is a huge step of obedience, but you’re not in this alone!  Take time to be in prayer with the Lord.
